Did you say this was your first time?! That's REALLY good, the words flow in together well![]()
About technical difficulties then I don't know because I've never messed with Photoshop to make stuff like that well actually I did in school but that was a while backI can't really see anything wrong with that
Oh! I also like how you did those square thingies at the top right hand corner because it goes with how the movie was-I think they showed that in a picture somewhere advertising it...![]()
But anyways *thumbs up*![]()
Hi there Sirius!
I love the picture that you've captured to make this image. It's a powerful symbol in AC, and it speaks in itself.
I like the idea of all these words and quotes you've written. Here's a little bit of my input, if they could help you a bit.
The words written seem to be really nice. The font you chose is perfect, but I think they should be bolder if not...more Opacity. I can't read what's written. Unless this was your original intentionTry to give it a little more % Opacity.
Try playing around the image's Brightness/Contrast (in Image--Adjustment) features if you like. It could help you see the image clearer...and give more focus on colours and lights.
The grid is nice, it's always cool to have them square onesBut does it fit the context? If you like, try a smaller grid (with smaller squares) and put it on the whole image instead of parts only. The image is "soft" in mood, therefore the grid shouldn't be so noticeable, imo. Try putting the grid in Overlay and play with its Opacity.
It's a wonderful artwork for a first time. Practice makes perfect. The more you play around with the features, the more you'll learn. Don't be afraid to use filters and all those other wonderful alternatives in PS. Copy and paste the original image on a new layer, and bring modifications to it for fun! You'll see, you'll be handling things easy in no time!*snaps fingers*

Thank you very much Daeya. I'll sure use your advices. Thanks
Hi people! Long time no seen! I've made a few cd covers, and I wish to show them to you :D Sorry for double post but I didn't want to create new thread (I think it's better to double post than to double thread?). So here are they:
http://www.lunatic.int.pl/images/cdcovers/
This is an "index" page of covers on my server. They are in greyscae, because I don't have a colour printer (Creating Black And White images is interesting experience). "blank" in filename means there's no titles or other words on cover (it's only background). Filename without "blank" is full cover. So please tell me what are you thinking about them. :)
Thanks!

Interesting works you have there, Sirius. I will, however, only comment on the ones I think you need to work on. If I don't say anything, then it means I'm loving the work a lot.![]()
CD1 and CD1 blank
Overall, the image is well done but there's one thing that seems off to me: the rose. The top part attempts to blend into the background on the top left but the lower right part is being cut into by the wing. That automatically throws me off.
Another thing that struck out at me in a weird way is the rose's stem. Though I generally like high contrast in black and white works, this one doesn't sit right with me. The fact that the petals of the rose is low contrast sets everything askew.
In my opinion, if you were going to fade the rose, then you should've faded the entire thing, petals and stem altogether. Again, if you were going for higher contrast, the entire rose should've been done like that. There's a certain degree of consistency one must keep, especially when dealing with one specific subject.
Hi again people. It's again me! *jums around*![]()
I've played a bit with my PS and I've made a wallpaper that I wish to show you.
It's Rei Ayanami from NGE with Longinous Lance in hands. Please tell me what do you think about it, and what I should change.![]()

Two things that really stand out are the fact that fonts are different, although it's not that huge of a standout, only if you stare at it closely. The other thing that looks kinda out of place is the "Nerv" at the bottom.
Other then that it looks great!! The pose you choose for Rei really flows with the picture well, especially with the gold flappy thingy in the background.
Edit: What is Nerv?

The ever so infamous Lance of Longinus, the bane of every Angel as well as every EVA. An Angel will usually take quite a bit of wearing down before an EVA is able to kill it. However, with the Lance of Longinus, all it needs is one strike.
Oh and FYI, if you've watched the movies that make up the end of the series, then you'll understand when I say that the way Asuka and EVA 02 was killed can be summed up in one word: OVERKILL!
Unlike Green Lady, I don't find the NERV logo to be out of place. Perhaps it's because I'm a fan of the series and I've come to expect that logo in many wallpapers. It's almost second nature.
However, I have to agree with her about the other comments. She pretty much nailed it.![]()
